This workout was done on Monday. I am a bit behind on my blog. Sorry.
Cardio Workout
Treadmill-ran for 35 minutes on Alpine, at a light jog.
Calves and Hamstring Power Workout (All exercises were completed with 10 lb ankle weights on each leg.)
Floor Kicks 3 sets of 25 reps on each leg using 10 lb ankle weights
Stiff Leg Kickbacks with resistance Ban 3 sets of 25 each leg and 10 lb ankle weights
The video shows the kickback done with a cable machine I do these also, but the kickback I mentioned above is done similarly, but with ankle weights on and a black resistance ban around my feet.
Bicycle with ankle weights 3 sets of 20 reps x 10lb
Weighted Abductor Raise 3 sets of 20 rep each leg x 10 lb
Dumbbell Standing Calf Raises 3 sets of 10 reps on each leg with 10lb ankle weights and 20 lb dumbbell
Medicine Ball WoodChopper 3 sets of 20 reps on each side using 14lb medicine ball (This exercise did me in within an hour of the workout. I could hardly move my back. It has been 3 days since I hurt my back. I went to the chiropractor today—-I can’t workout until my back heals. I will talk more about this in a separate titled blog.)
Walking Lunges w/10 lb ankle weights and 15 lb Dumbbells 3 sets of 15 reps x 10lb AW & 15 lb DB
Multi directional Calf Raises with 10 lb AW and 25 lb DB 3 sets of 20 reps each direction
Burned a total of 903 calories in 1 hr 23 minutes.
