Before I forget I need to say that my butt workouts seem to be paying off on my body. I am liking that!
I worked out on Saturday and took Sunday off.
Cardio Workout
I decided to do a slow easy jog on the treadmill. I set the program to Alpine Pass. That is my favorite setting. The inlcine took me to a max of 12 and I set the speed to a max of 5.4. I was very easy and enjoyable. I did this for 40 minutes.
Abs Power Workout
Captain Chair Crunches 3 sets of 5 reps using a 25 lb dumbbell this was heavy for me and I didn’t get much of a lift so I immediately after my 5 count switched to a 20 lb dumbbell and continued with my set and did 10 more reps with the 20 lbs
Dumbbell Side Bends 3 sets of 10 reps on each side using a 45lb dumbbell
Traveling Sideways Sumo Squat (Butt exercise) 3 sets of 15 reps using a 35lb dumbbell
Bosu Crunches 3 sets of 25 reps (These are my favorite type of crunches, I really feel my abs working and it gives my back such a nice stretch.)
Bosu Lateral Crunches 3 sets of 15 reps on each side
Step ups 3 sets of 10 reps on each side with 12 lb weights. (I do not like step ups. My left leg never wants to work right.)
Incline Bench Russian Twist My abs were really starting to hurt so I only did 1 set of 5 reps using 10 lb weight
Ball Transfer on Mat Again, my abs were killing me so I was only able to do 2. Not good, I know . . .
Standing Kickback using Cable Machine 3 sets of 12 reps on each leg with 40lb
Enjoyed my Sunday off.
