I wasn’t sure if I was going to have time to fit in a workout yesterday morning – - – and then I thought, something is better than nothing so off to the gym I went. I did a 65 minute workout, burning 793 calories most of those were burnt on the elliptical. I knew that I had to get in a fast and effective workout so I kept the resistance and the strides fairly high. I also had time to do:
Ab Workout:
Ball points (Jackknife) with dumbbells 4 sets of 12 reps
Lateral Bridge 2 sets of 10 reps each side
Captain Chair Crunch 1 set of 15 rep with 15lb weight
You do this exercise on a chair without arm rests. Sit with your hands on the sides of the chair and shift most of your body weight onto your hands (as if you were trying to lift your butt off the chair). Then, keeping your knees bent, lift your thighs up off the chair a few inches and slowly lower them back down. After you can do that, put a dumbbell between your feet when doing this exercise.
Off I went to drive to see the personal trainer.
